No TV will be showing the game in the US – except for PPV. This is due to JumpTV – and they charge 30 bucks / game. Its ridiculous. Even Nevada Smiths (the bar) in NYC charge 20 bucks at the door for people to get in to watch Argentina games.

I don’t know why Heinze is starting. I’m actually excited to see Apache. He’s going to go there and fight for every ball. Lets hope he keeps his cool this game.

Two words about Paraguay. They are really a good team all around. The #1 spoilers in the world, in my opinion.
They’re a balanced team. And they combine the typical strength the Paraguayans always had with great tactical work of Argy coach Gerardo “Tata” Martino (Bielsa’s guy).
He is a low key, humble guy, he admires la Albiceleste, but as he said to the press:
“We came out here to play for the 3 points”.
They have won all the games, leading in points and scoring, they beat Brazil in Asunción.
GK Justo Villar has already demonstrated his class (1 goal in 5 matches).
In the back, Da Silva, Cáceres and Morel Rodriguez are excellent players.
The rotation by Enrique Vera, Johnathan Santana and Edgar Barreto makes the midfield a hard problem to solve.
Forwards Salvador Cabañas, Roque Santa Cruz and Nelson Haedo are pretty well known already.
I suppose that both Cáceres and Morel Rodriguez are going to go at Messi.
I hope nobody gets hurt.
