Argentina vs. Venezuela Preview

By: Julian D | March 23rd, 2009 | 222 Comments »

We all know what the deal is now. We’ve been talking about it for ages. It’s time for another qualifier, but now it’s going to be Maradona’s real debut as head coach of la seleccion. Can he do it? What do you all say? I want to see some more predictions, please!

I personally would like to see a big blowout…A bit of a rout over Venezuela. It has been a while since Argentina has done that in a qualifier. They need to start scaring opponents again just by having their famous shirt on. I think this might be possible again with Messi. I also think that Messi should be given the #10, he deserves it. It wouldn’t surprise me if he comes out with the #10 shirt on Saturday. Wouldn’t that be something special?

A new era has begun! So guys let’s have it!

Also, feel free to post links to where we can watch the game online – that will be a great help to all of us. I know all of us will appreciate that. :)
