Argentina
Confederations Cup, Transfers, and Updates!

Hello everyone! I decided to start a fresh thread – that other one was getting a bit ugly! Well, I’ve been reading a lot of different things in regards to Argentina’s seleccion. There’s a lot to talk about. Let me suggest some topics.
1. Maradona as coach
2. Grondona – maradona/riquelme, stadium issues, etc.
3. Transfers?
4. Argentina vs. New Zealand – July 9 in Cordoba, Argentina. (friendly match)
5. Anything else related to Argentina’s futbol team.
My opinion about some recent news? Well, Andujar going to Catania? I think he’s really going to get a chance to show what he’s got. This team gets a lot of shots against them so I’m pretty excited to see what happens with this. I’m still not convinced that Maradona is done. I know we will beat New Zealand (using all local players again) but I want to see a good tactical game by Diego. The new venue for our games? Well I read somewhere that our next game against Brazil in September will still be played in el Monumental. I think they will try to play games in la Boca and Rosario too eventually. I do agree with Veron’s statement that they can’t hear the fans at the Monumental because they are so far away from the pitch.
Anyway, all the best guys, and let’s hope that our boys get their acts together for our next matches.
