0-0 at halftime. We haven’t played too badly. Not good conditions to play in, so it’s not the fastest game. I’d like to see us try something different from the cornerkick, their defenders are too tall, so we need to keep the ball down rather than play high balls in the box.

it’s ended 1-1, we started the second half well, got the goal and then gave them the equalizer. Rodriguez too far off his line.

It was wonderful to see Messi score his second goal. With his RIGHT foot. I wanna see more of this. If he can start to use his right foot more, he will become a much more complete player.

25 goals in 28 games this season….

Messi’s 2nd goal was amazing – pure poacher goal with brilliant first touch under pressure and then awesome finish with the wrong foot.

awesome 2nd goal by MESSI; great control & timing (reminds me of BATISTUTA’s goals for fiorenina)
it was more like Racing 1 – 2 MESSI

i would love if this happens;

Burdisso has been playing really well for Inter lately and so is Jonas for Newcastle where he won Mon of the Match for his brilliant display against Sunderland!! I really like this guy, he brings something different to our team. He takes on players at pace and is very good at it.
Colocinni is the usual donkey self, he was fantastic at Deporitivo last season but this season he’s flopped real bad.
Tevez workrate was exceptional but once again he’s finishing is so poor!!
Mascherano was fantastic against Chelsea..didnt give Lampard and Ballack an inch of space in Midfield and was the best players yesterday with Torres.
Apparently Juan Menseguez is on his way to West Brom from San Larenzo. Is he any good??
I’ll be really happy if Saviola moves to Liverpool coz am sure Rafa is the manager that can bring back the shine to the old gem again. Saviola at one time was the most exicting talent in world football but coz of his silly transfer moves, he’s lost alot of playing time and confidence.
We just hope we get to see the same saviola like he was before.

Goodluck to our Argentina -20 squad today!!

Would be a very stupid move for Saviola. Why move to another of the big clubs in Europe and still get almost no playing time? He should by now know his limitations and move to a small or “medium” club.

Crespo has once again been left out of Inter’s CL squad as Mourinho named the players for the rest of the CL. Why not move to another club, Hernan?

Messi scored both goals with his right foot. His second goal however was fantastic. He controlled the ball on his chest as he ran into the penalty area and unleashed an unstoppable volley with his right foot. Barca more often that not are quite toothless when Messi is not on the pitch. With starts like Etoo, Henry, Iniesta, Xavi etc, its amazing how a 21 year old is relied upon to make the difference. I’m sure the subject has been beaten to death, but I can never get tired of watching Messi play.

There is an article from “Radio del Plata” that says Riquelme doesn’t want to play against France.
There’s at this time, no other mention of these news anywhere else, so at the moment it can’t be confirmed.
The radio station has reported that Riquelme said he would rather stay in Buenos Aires getting in form for the Clausura.

Totally agree ajNYHC. He is the only player who gives a hope that something will happen that will be exciting. The anticipation every time he gets the ball is overwhelming.

About Riquelme, I won’t be very disappointed if he is not playing. We need to get used to it also. Will be good to gauge how we do without him.

Any other transfer gossips going around?
