Hola amigos !

PSG faced Ajaccio yesterday in Corsica and I was there, at the stadium, to watch Pastore and Lavezzi. Unlike last year, I haven’t much to say…

Pastore was used in a 4-3-3, in the “Iniesta role”, in midfield. He is learning the position and tried his best to defend properly. He didn’t catch lots of balls but managed to do well tactically. His defensive style was similar to Lucho’s. The game was locked and PSG players were static and carried the ball far too much. His laser pass that leaded to PSG’s best opportunity was awesome and reminded me of Riquelme (it made me realized how much I love Roman). Nene and Menez weren’t defending properly which pushed Pastore to be some kind of side defensive midfielder at times… especially in the last 30 minutes after the exclusion of… Lavezzi.

Lavezzi is very powerful and fast. Impressive. Ultra-efficient on counter-attacks (we all know it). Unfortunately, he dribbles a lot, and without a target-man like Cavani or Ibrahimovitch, he’s a bit lost on the field. He was aggressive when defending and got red-carded.

It was nice to watch these 2 argies live at the stadium but the game was boring. Paris are not a team at all, yet.
