Spanish words do not get moderator’s knife :-)
Frankly speaking that Milan milan posting in between was annoying , sounded like those unwanted popup advertisements between a nice online article.

Keep up the posts guys I am stuck with a achilles heal tendon inflamation , and since then this blog is with no posts, as if all were just waiting for the France -Arg match to finish and it did finish as we wanted, but the game did not leave a mark on us…we did not play bad …we did not play the signature game… but we won…
and now a void remains, something went missing…

Nice one Inter! Seems like we’re all recovering, the adrenaline rush has gone and it’s all back to normal. TBH it’s gone a bit boring, where has everyone gone? Maxi, hasn’t commented on the game yet, Maxi where r u?
Albo, just ignore him, he’s a WUM.

Yeah, MaxiLopez were are you? I would like to hear your thoughts on the game. This blog is not the same without you.

Nice to see Inter win, but sad that a brazilian scored. I hate Adriano with all my heart.

What a cracking goal by Di Maria last night!!!

Yeah, it was a great strike. Benfica seem to be playing much better, they have a good chance of being in the CL next season.

he’s doing ok, but i haven’t seen Benfica play all that much, the few times i have seen him though he’s looked like he’s recovering well and finding some form.

Carlitos Tevez, spoke last night for “Radio del Plata”.
He said that lately it has been difficult for the Albiceleste forwards to find themselves in position to shoot on goal because there’s still lack of connection between lines.
He mentioned that our forwards have to come back a lot and get the ball too far away from the opponent’s box. And that the main reason why they don’t have many chances to score.
“We only play the ball short and to the foot. We need more passes into the open areas.”

I AGREE WITH TEVEZ I ADORE THE ARGENTINE WAY BUT A WEE BIT OF ENGLISH STYLE GRIT WOULDN’T DO ANY HARM THRO IN A CROSS HERE AND THERE PLAY A LONG BALL HERE AND THERE MAKE MESSI AND WHO EVER CHASE THE ODD BALL OR 2 INTO THE BOX AND TAKE A FEW LONG SHOTS ALSO IT WOULDN’T HURT…………..

Tevez is right, in the game against France, we weren’t moving the ball forward quick enough, which is why neither Aguero or Messi were very effective for the first 30 minutes of the game. Only one long cross to Aguero and he beats the defender and gets the ball to Jonas. I think in the second half we did start to move the ball faster though and the lines moved closer together, but we lacked pace in the middle, Maxi played a different role, and Jonas didn’t have the pace to beat his defender and get a decent cross in, would have liked to see Di Maria come on to replace Jonas, and Tevez replace Maxi, that would have given us pace down the sides to get low crosses into the box. And then who knows? 3-0,4-0?

I very much agree with Tevez. NIve to see that some of our players understands this.

I agree with you guys.
But let’s keep in mind that during the match with France we played a defensive 4-4-2.
In those situations, most of the attack takes place in form of counterattacks.

What is the UEFA cup?
I’ve heard about the Champions League, of course.
But is there another cup played in Europe by second tier teams?
Sorry for my ignorance…

Against France Maradona selected a very defencive midifeld. He should have gone with a bit more flair by playing Levazzi/Di Maria over Jonas. I would also like to see Samuel instead of Heinze

MILAN succumbed to another dismal performance by drawing with Werder Bremen. The pathetic displays from MILAN continue since their recent league defeat to INTER. MILAN are hopeless.

Poor, poor Milan. Their old, tired, overpriced legs just couldn’t hold on. Shame.
