Leave your comments here for the huge slate of weekend games already underway across Europe and Argentina.

Carlos Tevez already scored in Manchester United’s 1-2 loss to Liverpool, and Barcelona, Inter Milan, and Atletico Madrid, all playing today. Tomorrow, Boca, current leaders in the Argentine Apertura, face a huge derby match tomorrow against an Independiente side who are desperate for a win.

Look for a recap of the Argentine Apertura early next week, and make sure to leave your thoughts on all the club football going on this weekend.

Tevez played from the start. Aguero came on when Atleti were already 2-0 down and Messi came on for the last 30 minutes of Barca’s game.

Seems that the peaceful work conditions of Coco Basile have come to an end after ARG-PER. Olé are cruelly going to make his life a nightmare. They notice that our argies are more efficient with their clubs than under the albiceleste colors.

Milito had a great game against Milan. He’s considered as a hero at Genoa. The fans even song “oéoéoéoé Diego…Diego..” like for Maradona. I think he’ll have another terrific season this year. Milito did a beautiful chest assist, provoked a penalty and shot it. Maldini had lots of difficulties against him.

Zarate scored the gol of the month.

Placente had some positionning difficulties and covered 2 or 3 offsides in favor of Marseille. He will need to work and consider Laurent Blanc’s advice. With the ball, he’s as good as Juampi Sorin. But in defence, he’s slow.

Cavenaghi did a long shot under the cross barr but didn’t score.

Zarate scored

Zarate has now scored 3 goals in 2 games. Lavezzi also had a brilliant game for Napoli as they beat Fiorentina 2-1.
All in all it’s not been a bad weekend for our boys, most of them have scored regardless of whether their respctive teams won or lost.
Banega has been named in Atletico’s squad for the CL game against PSV on Tuesday, i hope he gets a chance to play.

It’s weird for Sevilla to played Fazio as defensive midfielder. But after he switched to centerback, Sevilla’s defense improved.

Now, what’s the story about Gago? Is he gonna have enough playing time?

Nicolas Pareja is doing well at Espanyol. They haven’t conceded any goal.

Zarate was Magical tonight and so was Piatti.
Piatti has got some serious pace and some tremendous skill and ball control like Messi. Infact Almeria consider him to be their left sided Messi.
I would love to see Zarate given a chance in the NT, i’ve seen him in Birmingham Colours and i have to say this guy has both ability, technique, skills and a clinical finisher infront of goal. Tevez and Aguero are both good but they are too similar in nature.
Another Option has to be Higuain, i was shocked when he was not picked for the Olympic squad this year, he’s finishing is lethal and the everyone at Madrid want him to start ahead of Raul this season!!
Am more then sure we have the best players in the world but unfortunately our coach is just a donkey!!

Forget Barca. The players look like they’re trying to run away from the team.

Aguero’s having fun at A. Madrid. He’s making noise.

Someone said its was a strange weekend and it sums up well.

Tevez scored but Mascherano is the reason why he scored it. So made me feel good and bad. Mascherano made it up for the remaining part of the game so I am happy Liverpool won 2-1

Real madrid game was crazy. Higuain should have scored a few more to be honest. He have to get into habit of scoring more than 1 in such days. But I agree with all who says, that he should get a shot at the NT.

Mauro Zarate is really doing great! He should be calling in for duty soon. Tons of good young players to groom in next 2 years. Hopefully, Basile will be out soon. If it does not happen now, it will not happen this year or by 2010.

Noone cares about your comments john. Honestly. AC Milan suck even with 3 playmakers. Oh I just realized I didn’t see them in the lineup for Champions League tomorrow and the day after tomorrow. Why is that?

I think Grondona is meeting with Basile tomorrow. We’ll see how it goes. I don’t think Coco is going anywhere.

I think Zarate should be given a chance with Aguero. Aguero is NOTHING like Tevez.

By the way Heinze has officially stated he is neither resigning nor giving up on wearing on the Albiceleste shirt. I wonder whats going on with Basile now.
