The Vice-President of Velez confirmed that a 21 year old was killed on route to the stadium. 40 buses carrying Velez fans were attacked as they passed a group of Huracan fans. It's worth noting that further violence was avoided when Velez fans, who cleared out of the Nuevo Gasometro, attempted to enact some kind of revenge, but were stopped by police.
