I am a die-hard Argentina fan, but aboveall, I'm a big time Crespo fan. Argentina is incomplete without Crespo. He is the genious, the master the killer. Had he played in Copa America final, the outcome could have been in Argentina's favor. You can't expect Requilme to score goals in set pieces in every match. Keep Crespo!!

World cup is in the distance but we still need to mold a team for it. As a result, we need two younger right full backs. We need a young replacement for requelme. For the upcoming qualifiers, i'd love to see aguero in for tevez and Insua in for Combiasso.
We need D'allessandro in this team. He would replace combiasso for me.

I think it was MaxiLopez who asked me a few days ago "why are people in Argentina so indifferent to the upcoming matches. (If it was someone else, I'm sorry for the misquote.)
Right now it's getting all the attention. It took until this week but now is in first page everywhere and it is only sharing importance with the Pumas.
Fortunately, they won't be competing for fans this time. Argentina-Chile is played this Saturday and Pumas-Springboks for rugby WC semifinals is on Sunday.
People know Messi is in Buenos Aires, same Agüero, Tevez, Riquelme, Mascherano, they wanna see them playing together. I believe Messi makes Argentina something special.
Of course the Monumental at Nuñez is totally sold out.
Everybody wants Messi to do well and give them a reason to dream of a better future.
There is something special this time. Messi, he is that something special.
And if Bielsa throws 2 or 3 defenders at him, it's up to our other guys to take advantage of the empty lanes.

By the way, today was the day for nice words. Basile plus several players (Heinze, Riquelme, Zanetti) talked to the media and expressed their respect and admiration for "el loco" Bielsa.
Bielsa in time felt grateful for those words and mentioned that Argentina during these qualifiers was going to be in the eyes of the whole world.
Other South American coaches also complemented the talent Argentina was fielding.
Luis Fernando Suárez, (Ecuador): Argentina is now the "reference team" in South America and they already have a place in WC10.
Jorge Pinto, (Colombia): There is no better talent than them.

All this hype of course is not what we want coming into qualifiers but I guess these players, and more specifically Lionel Messi, make it impossible to avoid.

It is very possible that, from the start, Chile will play pressure defence across the entire pitch. This is going to complicate the flow of our game. It is a very annoying style of football and Argentina might commit lots of errors.
Basile and his players know all this. The deal is to support it and try to avoid getting scored on, at least until the end of first half. Because it's impossible to play with that intensity for more than 50 to 60 minutes. I would almost say that if Chile don't score early in the game, it'll be hard for them to beat us.

Dale Rojo!!, I was the one who said Alexis Sánchez is as good as Agüero.
I'm sorry if you took it as an insult. It was not my intention.
I'm a liberal Boca fan, I understand (by your nickname) that you are an Independiente fan. Alexis plays for River, if I hadn't seen an enormous talent in that kid I wouldn't have talked about him. I love Agüero. He's special. But Sánchez is special too.
I'd like to see Rolfi Montenegro and German Denis playing together too. They're "in the zone" these days, aren't they? . Un abrazo.

Feel free to come back and contribute again whenever you feel like.

By the way, I just read a blog post by a Man U fan saying that Tevez hogs the ball too much. God, some people. (And if Tevez is a ball hog, they've never seen Messi play, obviously.)
