Leroy i agree with you completly especially in d’alessandros thing hes talented but he has one problem which is that he needs to be controled by the manager so he wont keep the ball with him for a long time like he does in zaragoza all of the time …. and ill be shocked if aguero wouldnt play from the begining the guy has proven himself in the spanish league its the best time for him to score his first national goal ! hes perfect in 3-4-2-1 !! this short guy is good on corners also which is great !!

My ideal formation for argentina is 3-4-3 but i’l work with the coach’s choice of 4-3-1-2. I think Andres D’allesandro should be given the left wing role – He is creative, young and can change a game in an instant. He also defends well with Zaragossa. I love Requelme and his style of play but i think we need another player to tip the diamond who can go forward well, fall back and tackle, create and has alot of pace to compliment Messi and Aguero (not Tevez). We need some wingbacks for the worldcup too.

I am so sad that I won’t be able to see the game. No TV sations here in Norway will show it…..Maybe I will try to find a live stream somewhere, but the game will be played in the middle of the night here…Hope you guys can tell me everything about the game tomorrow.

Good morning/afternoon/evening, everyone! I agree with Albo: the formation is more like a 4-2-2-2 a lot of time with Cambiasso and Masche forming the double 5. My problem with that is the lack of width. Teams have really hurt us by taking advantage of that before.

MaxiLopez, as I understand, when Maxi Rodriguez moves up to level with Riquelme, in theory, Cambiasso should stay as a stopper, in fact Mascherano should make some room for him.
At that point you have a 4-2-2-2.
The problem I’ve seen is that Cambiasso moves up too and that’s when there’s a gap between defenders and forwards.
4-3-1-2 is a formation that allows lateral backs to move up the field so the mid-fielders have to be very careful with the balance of the team.

Actually, 4-3-1-2 is a successful formation and Argentina is famous with it.

i think since we are not gonna play with a “9″ then dont have the forward pretend to be a nine….i think we should concentrate on holding the ball and defeating the defence with short first touch passess and clever walls….
