Argentina vs. Spain friendly

Well here we go guys! It was about time we started a new post right? Well guys this Saturday is the match. Let’s have it and enjoy ourselves. Have faith, I know we can still do it. The new shirts are beautiful, I really like them. Diego Milito has currently stated the Maradona is the perfect man to guide Argentina.
Maradona, Bilardo, and doctor Donato are all in Madrid. Sergio Aguero y Jonás Gutiérrez are both injured and they’re not sure if they will be able to play. What do you all think? Can we do it? Or is Argentina futbol in trouble? I just think there are ups an downs and this is just another one of those downs. It’s not the first time this has happened. It happens with all great futbol countries.
Game time is:
21:00 UK
Santiago Bernabeu Stadium
Spain v Argentina
Porteros: Sergio Romero (AZ Alkmaar, NED) y Mariano Andújar (Catania, ITA).
Defensas: Gabriel Heinze (Olympique Marsella, FRA), Martín Demichelis (Bayern Múnich, GER), Cristian Ansaldi (Rubin Kazan, RUS), Fabricio Coloccini (Newcastle, GBR) y Nicolás Pareja (Espanyol, ESP).
Medios: Javier Mascherano (Liverpool, GBR), Fernando Gago (Real Madrid, ESP), Ángel Di María y Pablo Aimar (Benfica, POR), Jonás Gutiérrez (Newcastle, GBR), Esteban Cambiasso (Inter, ITA) y Maxi Rodríguez (Atlético de Madrid, ESP).

Ireland got raped. Yes, I know FIFA won’t do a replay for the OT period, but they so deserve it.
And they have ordered replays for referee errors int he past, just not when one of their beloved could face elimination.

Well Hiddink could be available. I wonder who will try to nab him. If France had any sense, they’d sack Dome-BLECH and make a play for him.

YES I ALSO LOVE HOW A SPLIT SECOND CHOICE BY DIEGO IN MID AIR THAT ANY PLAYER IN THAT POSITION WOULD HAVE DONE (ADMITTED BY GARY LINEKER HE STATED HE WOULD HAVE DONE IT TOO)
TO PRE MEDITATED CHEATING IS JUST BLIND
REVALDO AND HIS FACE HOLDING AT THE COURNER FLAG WAS TRING TO GET A INNOCENT MAN SENT OFF
THATS A 1000 X MORE CHEAT THAN ANYTHIONG DIEGO EVER DID
BRAZILS KEEPER RUNNING AXCROSS THE GOAL LINE IN A PENALTY SHOOT OUT VS ARGENTINA SOME YEARS BACK WEN RULES STATE TO STAND CENTRAL UNTILL BALL IS KICKED WAS 1000X MORE CHEAT THAN ANYTHING MARADONA DID
FIFA THEN CHANGED THE RULES AFTER THE EVENT IN BRAZILS FAVOR (LIKE IV STATED BEFORE FIFA ARE CORRUPT)
WEN ALL KEEPERS ALOVER THE WORLD STARTED DOING IT EFFECTIVLY MAKING PENATY IMPOSSABLE TO SCORE
FIFA CHANGED IT BACK TO CORRRECT RULES (FUNNY FIFA DID WHAT BRAZIL WANTED AND EVERYONE ELSE SEEN AS CHEATING)
AGAIN AUDIE ASK’S
WAKE UP TO THE TRUTH

fifa wont use technology for the same reason we are still driving oil run cars
there is more money in having someone make decisions, bribes can exists
welcome to corporate earth every decision made by everyone in power is all about more $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
you dont have to know this to understand it

I still think pressure needs to be put on Blatter and Platini so that their hypocrisy is exposed and it derails both of their potential campaigns in the future.

FIFA invalidates Uzbekistan-Bahrain result; match to be replayed(FIFA.com) Tuesday 6 September 2005
FIFA confirmed today that the result of the 2006 FIFA World Cup Germany™ qualifying match between Uzbekistan and Bahrain on 3 September 2005 has been declared invalid and must be replayed. In order to respect the drawn order of the matches, the first leg is to be replayed in Uzbekistan on 8 October 2005, with the second leg match to be rescheduled for 12 October 2005 in Bahrain.
The decision was taken by the Bureau of the 2006 FIFA World Cup Germany™ Organising Committee following a formal protest from the Uzbekistan Football Federation concerning a technical error by the referee of the match.
According to Art. 12.4 (b) and 14.1 of the Regulations for the 2006 FIFA World Cup™, all protests, including those against technical errors committed by referees, are to be decided by the Organising Committee for the 2006 FIFA World Cup Germany™. A bureau of the Organising Committee may pass a decision in lieu of the plenary committee in urgent matters.
The Bureau, composed of Chairman Lennart Johansson, Deputy Chairman Julio Grondona, Dr Chung Mong Joon and FIFA General Secretary Urs Linsi, took the decision based on the following facts:
1) At the score of 1-0 in favour of Uzbekistan, in the 39th minute of the match, the referee decided to award a penalty kick to Uzbekistan;
2) The penalty kick was taken and led to goal in favour of Uzbekistan;
3) Before the penalty kick was carried out, an Uzbek player entered the penalty area;
4) Consequently, the referee awarded an indirect free kick to the Bahrain team;
5) However, in such a situation, the Laws of the Game require the referee to order the penalty kick to be retaken;
6) The captain of Uzbekistan team protested to the referee immediately after the mistake had taken place and before the game had restarted. This protest was confirmed after the match;
7) This technical error was confirmed by the match commissioner and the referee inspector in their respective reports;
Uzbekistan protested the decision of the referee in a written request, asking for the match to be “cancelled” and be evaluated with a 3-0 forfeit result;
The bureau, taking into consideration that the referee in the match in question had indeed committed a technical error, established that, as a consequence, the match needed to be replayed. As a result, the protest put forward by the Uzbekistan team for the match to be considered a forfeit with a 3–0 result is rejected. In accordance with Art. 12.6 of the Regulations 2006 FIFA World Cup Germany™, this decision is final and binding.

That was about it…

Congrats to Liga Universidad de Quito. They reached the finals of Copa Sudamericana.
They will face the same opponent they faced in the finals of Copa Libertadores, Fluminense.
Alexa, Way to go !!!!
Both teams are becoming power-houses of South American Copas.

Read the match reports of the game on FIFA.com and uefa.com. Not a mention of the handball.
Shameless. It’s like the press under the former communist regimes.
And these bodies govern world football. A disgrace.

Hey guys, can anyone find the match facts of Argentina vs. England in the quarterfinals of WC 86? I need it cause im having an argument with a friend whos an english fan and hes saying england shouldve won lol.. Thanks.

Also, who were the pre-tournament favorites of ‘86? Was England a talented squad? Were they expected to go far? Thanks

ARGENTINEFAN,
England lost their opening group match to Portugal 1-0, drew with Morocco, and beat Poland. Up until beating Poland, they were facing elimination.
They then beat Paraguay in Round 2.
Argentina beat South Korea, drew with Italy, and beat Bulgaria (a team that drew earlier with Italy).
They beat Uruguay in Round 2 despite a disallowed goal by Maradona.
An interesting note: except for Argentina-England, all quarterfinal matches were decided on penalties.

I believe that curious persons can understand that FIFA corrupts the game.
Italy were stolen in 2002 against Corea. Everybody knows. Even the referee indirectly told the press about the corruption once FIFA fired him (he seemed to do his job too well for Blatter…). What was thinking Puma, the Italian sponsor about it?
4 years later. Italy had an easy road to the final with referees helping them all the time. Congrats to them against Germany, that’s why I supported them in the final (even if I didn’t really care). Italia forgot 2002 when the referee of the final red carded Zidane ONLY after he saw the violent images on the stadium screen. What was thinking Puma then?
France were stolen in 2006, even if they managed to qualify after the 1st round. People have forgotten but I remember.
Lastly, at the end of France – Ireland, the line referee saw the 2 hand-balls. The refereeS, all of them, saw the action on the TV screen. They didn’t move.
I don’t know how exactly FIFA corrupts games. I don’t know what is the degree. But it is a reality. Little touches from a referee can have big impacts on a game. I will never forget Argentina – Germany. Never.
Ireland will maybe be helped by FIFA in 4 years. They are a little country so it will probably not be the case.
French players and most of all, Domenech (who is their Maradona and earned 1 million € in a qualification bonus), have told horrible things to the press.
People hate cheaters. They hate Henry now, and even France (does Adidas care?). But we must be honest with ourselves. Don’t forget what Messi & Aguero did when they copied Maradona some time ago. Cheters are allowed by FIFA. Video refereeing is refused to have more influence on games.
Trapattoni & Ireland players, I’m your fan.

Huge words from Trapattoni!
“What did I do to Blatter? I would like to know? I’m sure that UEFA and Platini didn’t want to see Ireland at WC neither”
All this is really good news for futbol, believe me. Italy 2002 was a first step. I hope this one is the second.

Of course Platini did not want Eire in the Cup.

New scandal in European Football?
More than 200 matches “arranged” ???
I guess corruption is not found only in third world countries.
Football is due for a big change.

Argentina – Germany (1990)
Italy – Corea (2002)
Brazil – Belgium (2002)
Brazil – Turkey (2002)
Brazil – Ghana (2006)
Argentina – Germany (2006)
France – Ireland (2009)
What else?

I doubt there will be a big change guys. Be real. They’ll grab small fry people, but never top officials. And FIFA has its own group of liars, who are responsible for investigating themselves….

Just an opinion.
In my ideal world, FIFA would govern football clubs. (!)
With an important Club World Cup.
And the competition between nations should be a part of the IOC (olympic games), like all other sports do.
That’s what would make sense to me and would make football better because of course FIFA would have elections and all the professional clubs would vote for their candidates.
I know this is not going to happen anytime soon.
Just reflecting on how the game should be re-organized.

Amazing, it never ends. Did you read the last one regarding FIFA?! I can’t believe it. The Iraki federation needs to be rebuilt because it was composed of Saddam Hussein very close collaborators. So the Iraki government has decided to permanently put on hold the federation and take the time to protect the building & to re-create it with new men. These fuc#ing bastards at FIFA have decided to simply suspend Irak from all financial help. Games won’t be officialy considered there neither. What a shame.

How can sport ministers all over the world let FIFA act like this without moving a finger?

JULIAN,
Honestly, it’s not possible to discuss in such a mess, between the troll JOHN and AUDIE’s capital letters & his demands to wake up. Can you do something or am I asking too much?

Yeah, this Audie guy makes me nervous.
He’s always confronting someone.

Heck, we’ve been bitching about FIFA for the last 5 years in this blog and this punk comes around and tells us to wake up.
How dumb is that, actually?
