if you ever want to know if a manager has lost a team, this is shining evidence. no cohesion, all these fouls, players doing their own thing. yes the referee had a massive say in that. but what is:

1 – tevez doing as a winger?
2 – did we even have a MF. Cucho, tevez, mache, roman, ledesma were all over the place
3 – how a coach cannot properly put messi in situations where he can run at the D is just terrible. he is the best in the world at running at Ds and we never got him the space.

I could go on, but wow. just terrible. Please Basile, just LEAVE already

this is seriously stupid. taking off Aguero for Milito????
surely Riquelme should go instead, no?

Tevez could have played up front with Milito with Aguero and Messi on the ‘wings’.

Riquelme’s looking lost/tired again. hasn’t managed to make a single useful free kick in … years.

to be honest, we’ve played some terrible soccer. there is no build up, no semblance of a plan. it’s unreal as to how out of sync we look. I mean, this is a collection of some of the best players in the world and we look worse than some JV teams. there is just no formation / tactic and it’s almost as if our training sessions have consisted of Basile putting the ball on the ground and asking the players to play. Really shambolic. How can we be this terrible?

damn, Zanetti’s having a really good game of it. Riquelme too, when he gets the ball.

even though it’s a very physical match, Riquelme’s holding and releasing very nicely.
