Born and raised in Cordoba, Argentina (vamos piratas de Belgrano!) and moved to the states, wanted to see if anyone knew where we can watch the Argentina games in New York, preferably Manhattan, someone mentioned Novecento, is thas a speculation or is it reality? Let me know - for all those non-argentinians that root for the albicelestes: un abrazo grande…

From Uruguay but since we’re not in…no comment. Argentina won me over with Santo Maradona in ‘86. For all the people in New York write me back if Queens is to far to go see a game and lets all meet for the Argentina matches at Nevada Smiths!!! playasolmar@hotmail.com

I am from Somalia, I became a fan ever since the 1978 World Cup when I watched the game with my father as a kid, he was a great fan of Pasarela, Bertouni, Luke, Kempes and the rest of the 78 team. I was even hooked when I saw Maradona display his skills in Mexico 86 and of course the Italian league in the 80’s. Good luck Argentina… And hard luck for Zanetti.

Hi all, and to Carrie I would like to proffer the following complications rivaling yours: born in Bs As, but of German parents and once married to a Brasilian. Nevertheless, the emotional connection to Argentina is ineluctable and fierce. And regarding your question about the only female fan, my present wife is from Australia and she will root for AR as soon as AU is eliminated! Moreover, we live in LA and I will try to find a place where the game is being played and let ya know! Maybe David could help us in this pursuit…

Hola!
I was born and raised in Cordoba (Argentina) and been here in the US since 82. I am now 42 years old and it’s been 6 years since I’ve been back Cordoba.
El Futbol is my passion for it identifies me with my culture. I was in Argentina in 78′ and will NEVER forget el Mundial. During the Dirty War, it was very welcomed distraction in those days.
Argentina Kicks Ass!

Hi, I’m from Boston, and I’ve been a fan of Argentina soccer for years. I guess I was hooked by their bold style and skill. I love Batigol (Oh, I WISH his last WC didn’t end so badly), Maradona (even though my English boyfriend can’t even stand to talk about him!), Sorin, and El Burrito (Yeah, I know he screwed up against Holland in WC, but I can’t help loving the guy - he’s such a brat.) I would love to know where to find other fans near Boston to watch tomorrow’s match (email me at alexiscc2000@yahoo.com if you know).
Vamos, vamos, Argentina!

I was born in Rosario, Argentina, moved to Antigua and Barbuda when I was six and have been back to Argentina several times since. Tomorrow’s game will be very stressful. Won’t get a wink of sleep tonight. We need Messi in there at the beginning of second half. WATCH OUT GERMANY!

It’s very sad. We were eliminated of the WC. But there is no problem. The players as Agüero, Messi, Tevez, and others that apearing, will be in his better moment in the next WC.
¡¡Aguante Argentina, canejo!!

there is no words to describe this pain, it just to hard

Thank you in the name of all argentinians!!!! We hopely wish you to visite our country and play a nice “partido de futbol” with us =).
Keep the pasion, keep the colours!
Arriba ARGENTINA!!

Well seeing as Ireland didn’t make it, I had a few choices. Support the teams that prevented us from winning the world cup i.e. switzerland and france, or cheer on the argies. Well i chose to cheer on the argies and support les blues, luckily there was no divided loyalty. Argies played some good football, reminded me of watching ireland play against France that time in stade de france when we should have beaten les bleus. It didn’t happen for us and it didn’t happen for the argies. Its just the way life goes. Win some, lose some; but always play beautiful football.

WOOOWWWW!!! I can`t believed how many people around the world love`s my colour too. Thank you at all of you, specially a those ones who live`s in the other side of the planet and we couldn`t never imagine that know something about Argentina. I read 2 mails from England and it was like a shock … I never ever could think that a English citizen choose “La Seleccion Argentina” before The English Team. We`ll see you in South Africa 2010.

Interesting topic… I’m working in this industry myself and I don’t agree about this in 100%, but I added your page to my bookmarks and hope to see more interesting articles in the future
