Tevez Linked to Chelsea Move
Corinthians is denying reports that it plans to sell Carlos Tevez to Chelsea this summer. Reports on Wednesday indicated that Chelsea coach Jose Mourinho had expressed interest in acquiring Tevez, but Corinthians has issued a statement saying that transfer talks aren’t underway. Tevez has also been linked to a move to Internazionale.
I really hope that Carlitos does not go to Chelsea. I haven’t liked the way Chelsea have used Crespo and I would hate for Tevez to go to a system where he isn’t able to further develop his amazing skills.

Thats the worst place he can go- he’ll be on the bech half the time and when things aint going right they’ll be accusations left right and centre. Better off moving to a spanish club. Its where the argentinians flourish and play their best. Italy is good place to play and develop but it is nowhere near as exciting as the primera liga.
Look at Riquelme, at a club where he gets regular football-i hope he doesnt go to man utd.
Villareal should go for tevez if forlan leaves.

Tevez will be on awesome on Inter but not Chelsea. I am starting to love LA PRIMERA now…It’s got top class players! I’d like to see Tevez on Inter though with all those other Argentines! LOL But yeah look at Crespo on Chelsea, as of late he is starting to slip. It’s not his style…He loved it in AC MILAN, they should have signed him there.

ANYWHERE BUT ENGLAND PLEASE!!!!! argentines cannot flourish there, we are out of our element in that environment…

What are you chatting about sebas?? Argentinians aint out of their element in any league. Crespo has been on fire this season but has gone off the boil recently. Veron was never going to make it, no work rate but had all the time in the world in the italian league. Ossie Ardiles and Ricardo Villa were too sick for tottenham. Argentinians shouldnt move abroad when their too young is my point. Look at Heinze, is he not good enough to play in the english league??

alan, what i was saying is that the speed and power based ball that they play in england is not the true roots of argentinian soccer, whether you like to admit it or not. moreover, i agree crespo was amazing for a great portion of this season but, the fact that he has not had a secured starting position once this season is precisely my point. okay i will give you Heinze but i will add the fact that he is a defender and my comment was mainly aimed at offensive players. but as for Ossie Ardiles and Ricadro Villa, they are not even national team calibur. i believe Ardiles has some caps but thats it. veron further supports my point, he is old and is doing just as good now for inter than he did for man u; you call it work rate fine but you must realise argentine futbol is an art based on talent not like the style lacking english futbol based on brute strength and athleticism. are you going to disagree with me and say that argentinians should should play in england over spain or italy??????

Let me just say something about the leagues..In my opinion Serie A is the best league in the world because the style is right in between the styles of la Liga and the premier league. La liga is great to watch bcuz of the skill but its just too soft.. The premier league is the exact opposite just brute force.. Serie A in my opinion has the perfect mixture. Also I think the competition between teams is much closer in Serie A (u see more so called “upsets”).
But were talking about Tevez and in my opinion his style can fit in any league just as long as hes not in chelsea who chooses to play a style that leaves there forward all alone to make a miracle. Tevez has enough hustle and “ganas” to play in england…Enough skill to play in Spain…And obvi could play in Italy with lil problems..

No,
English soccer is not for the Argentines.
Their “kick-ball” style of play doesn’t conform to the South American passing and attack.
Tevez needs to stay with Corinthians, or go to la liga / or Inter.

In the end I hope doesn’t go to Chelsea just for the money. That would be sad, wouldn’t it? Yeah the premier is very “bruto”. I read a Crespo interview somewhere where he states that he literally had to start working out and get bigger to play against the guys in the Premiership… He’s as big as them now! If you are reading this Crespo, you are awesome!!!

I cannot believe your criticising ossie ardiles.Unbeleievable.
Anyway Veron was never gonna make it, too lightweight for premiership. Someone like Kily Gonzalez could make it here because of his strength. No, argentinian players dont have to play in england over spain and italy but they way you portray the english league, it is not as bad as you think. Duscher wouldn’t mind going in for a few bone breaking tackles of his own.
I hope Paletta makes it at Liverpool, it will prove a few others wrong.
The argentinians that want to make it here have to be strong and hardworking. And such players are beginning to appear.
Chelsea on the other hand are just going to ruin young talent. The lust for immediate success will mean them buying star players over and over again, selling the ones that didnt make it.

I say send him to Barcelona , Inter or Juventus …….he would tear it up over at any of those clubs ….or just leave the guy in brazil , I think brazil has a lot to offer his style of play

Just to clear things up: Ossie Ardiles was a longtime Argentine player and star for the Tottenham Hot Spurs. He retired because he just couldn’t quit smoking. He later became Tottenham’s adored coach. Ardiles was a fixture for the albiceleste until he retired. He was world champion in 1978.

Would you believe it, now chelsea are chasing Tevez and Mascherano. Man utd are also after Mascherano. Chelsea are going to wreck both players careers and the move will affect their playing careers. I’m being serious, if both players move to the spanish or italian league they can biuld their experience by playing regular football at a club where expectations are not so huge and lets face it at chelsea your no.1 or your out of the door. You got to feel sorry for Crespo. The man was firing them in for milan last season including champs league and then Chelsea brought him back. I hope Milan get him end of the season.

I never thought about this. Apparently no on knows much about Corinthians financial backers who are based in london. A lot of people apparently believe it is roman abramovich providing the funds to purchase the best talent in South America for corinthians. One thing that everyone knows is that, the businessman who is at the front of all these deals Kia Joorabchian is not using his own money.
Abramovich is doing all this so that he has first hand on all the best talent that comes out South America. They move to Corinthians to build experience or relevant amount of international caps, where afterwards Chelsea can come and pick them off one by one without needing to fight with any clubs.
People, it does not matter if we dont want tevez or mascherano to go to chelsea. They are already their players as soon as Corinthians bought them.
