It will be a shame if he is not in the WC. Any country in the world would take him. C’mon Pekerman, the kid is on fire and we need players like him in our squad. Just imagine him coming on for Crespo in the second half and create a goal out of nowhere!

  • fernie

    he’s pretty sick

  • Kris

Hes too little for the world cup… period..

  • Jonathan

    he’s great.

Newell’s kept him in check this past week, but come 2010 he’ll be on fire.

I don’t know how much good he’d do on this current squad, sitting the bench.

Let him develope and we’ll see him in 4 years on the grandest stage!

  • http://B619A Pugnate

Firstly thanks for the post. Secondly I think we can all agree he is very talented but like you said the stage will be set for him in 2010.

  • Kris

2010 sounds more realistic but if he doesnt hit the “weight room” haha hes gonna be like saviola..Granted saviola isnt as good as Aguero in my opinion but if ur that little u gotta prepare your body to be strong like a bull and quick…

  • hasan

Aguero is only 17, he will probably still grow. Gaining too much weight is gonna slow him down (look at ronaldo). only some players could pull it off.

  • Dave

I have just seen this lad on television. I heard him saying that he would like to play for Liverpool FC in England.

I would love him to for Liverpool, i think alot of the fans would like him here.

  • Lam

Pekerman should bring Aguero this summer. Though he might spend the time on the bench, he will be able to feel what WC finals actually is. That’s a good experience for him which might prove to be vital in 2010.

  • Dan

He said he’d like liverpool but he also said he likes chelsea. He could well be the final piece of the magnificent chelsea jigsaw. Watch out premiership!!!!

  • albiceleste

Did anyone watch golazo last night. Is that where everyone heard about him wanting to join liverpool or chelsea?
Now he is starting to reach the ears of british fans. The goals shown yesterday were too good and looks promising. Looks a good bet to join the argie squad with that form.

  • JP

Kris: Aguero is bigger than Messi and he’s a powerful little bull – like Tevez. For those who dismiss his possibilities for this year – let’s remember where Messi was 6 months ago in terms of consideration: nowhere.

  • http://lol.com lol

I agree with JP. Aguero is playing much better than Messi. If he was doing this in europer the situation would have been totally different.

  • bouboul

well, aguero le ‘kun’ reminds me romario, they have a lot in common: a great sense of goals, intelligence, breathtaking ability to think quickly and to turn defenders fool… he has a great future, he will take the world by storm for the years to come. having tevez, messi, aguero, mascherano… Argentina is blessed

  • Dave

Yes i watched Golazo, this is how i heard of Aguero.

Would love to see him at Liverpool.

  • glenn curran

I hope the kid has the sense to join Liverpool and not chelsea. He looks to be an excellent prospect and im sure with the right advice he would prefer to join a club with pedigree and a fine history like liverpool and not a team who are trying to buy success like chelsea.

  • The Saint

I believe this guy will be great! At his age, and wanting to join the European Champions [Liverpool Of course] will be the great signing!

    Come to Liverpool Son!

  • Killian Cullen

Massive rumors required that liverpool are going to make a bid for him.He has added to the speculation by saying he would rather join them than anyone.

  • Killian Cullen

Check out liverpools new signing Mark Gonzalez, tore barca apart last week.
    Viva la Rafalution

  • James

Ive heard he supports liverpool and has his heart set on a move there , disregarding braca , madrid and munich!

  • JuanluDoktaiz

This is my video!! I made it in november…I’m really happy that you liked it! Now I’m working for a new video cause aguero don’t stop scoring!!! Bye from Italy!

  • Simon

If anyone wants proof of who he really supports, check this out… http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0IieFb32pP8&search=aguero

  • GoGoSisoko

I hAVE SEEN THE VIDEO. bRING HIM TO THE WORLD CUP!

  • spionkop

the rumours linking this kid to liverpool are getting stronger every day.lets just hope they are true.

  • http://www.infiernorojo.com.ar pablo

hello everybody I m from Argentina, a fan of Independiente (Aguero s team)and I m proud that KUN plays for us, you dont know the kind of player that he is!!!, because you dont see him every day like we do in Argentina, he is from another planet, like someone wrote before if KUN (nickname of Aguero)plays in Europe like the way that he do in here, without a doubt he will be greater than Messi.
the video that you see from him is a little bit of his talent, there are a lot of videos of him in http://www.infiernorojo.com.ar Ihope that you can see it…

  • http://www.infiernorojo.com.ar pablo

http://www.infiernorojo.com.ar/aguerovideo.shtml , enter here and you can download the videos , i hope that you can enjoy it like i do (gracias a dios de que el kun juega en mi equipo!!! vamos Argentina y el rojo de avellaneda Independiente, the king of cups!!!) tranlation: thank god that Aguero plays for my team!!! come on Argentina and Independiente of avellaneda!!!

  • http://www.infiernorojo.com.ar pablo

another thing, Aguero wants to stay all his life in Independiente because his is a fan of the team too, but his family pushes him to play in Europe (because of the money obviously) , and the team that he wants to play in Europe is…. Manchester united, because the t shirt is red like Independiente de Avellaneda

  • http://www.infiernorojo.com.ar pablo

he supports Independiente, but if he has to pick a team outside Argentina he said he ll choose Manchester united

  • http://www.infiernorojo.com.ar pablo

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g-9TKrQNLBI&eurl= another video, i hope you enjoy it…

  • Michael Tremarco

hes set his heart on a move to the mighty Liverpool F.C and hed be more than welcome through the Bill Shankley gates to showcase his talents in one of the worlds best footballing arenas at anfield in front of the kop.PLEASE RAFA SPLASH THE CASH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Mike

Argentina should take him to Germany even if it’s just part of the squad. Brazil took Ronaldo to USA 94 and it never did him any harm even though he never played.

Hope he dosen’t go to Liverpool or Chelsea though. two of the most negative teams in England that set out to stifile good footballing teams rather than trying to win themselves. Arsenal is where he should go in England but he’d be better going to Spain as it’s a better standard of football and will suit his style.

  • crouchy6′7

Saw a video compilation of some of his goals and he looks to be in a different class for his age, really hope liverpool are scouting him and capture him in the summer. look forward to see if he gets in the argie squad too.

  • crouchy6′7

to the avove comment about spanish football being a better standard than english is a load of BULL, sure they get plenty of time on the ball to do fancy tricks and flicks which sometimes do and do not come of but the tempo is slow, the teams are weak and theres no where near as many quality players there as in england. and this is coming from someone who thinks liverpool and chelsea don’t play good football, and thinks he would be better suited at arsnel instead. well that wouldn’t happen as his not french for starters! he would be a younger, skillfuller, faster version of luis garcia who works perfectly of the strickers! agentinian coach hinted at him going to the world cup the other day so hope he does, could only be good for his experience even if he doesn’t play!

  • farey

yes i agree with mike. i hope pekermen will include him in the final squad.

  • fab

most likely he will move to athletico madrid

and is la liga is so crap compared to PM… then how come barca owned chelsea??

there are no better leagues just different styles

  • buck

    pls dont go to lpool
    lpool sux

  • http://nil Ardemon

Messi or Aguero, its good news for argentinian fans that finally after a long time since Maradona ‘86 WC, theres a feeling of Argentina winning WC again. This WC 2006 may be too early for these talents but watch out for 2010/2014. Both venues gives advantage to South American. Seeing Messi, reminds me of Maradona.. Lets hope!

  • http://nil Akash86

World at their feets.. Surely this young but potential Argentinian side have big things to achieve. Messi/Aguero/Teves/Biglia and other young ones are truely great. The era of overrated players are gone like Otega/Veron/Simone overshadowing true greats of their time Fernando Redondo. Current WC concern is the G/keeper who has let in 6 gols or more in juz a couple of f/matches

  • http://enithost.com Juancho

“el KUN” is the best player and with he and messi and riquelme we are going to win the next WC. and the 2010 WC too ;)

This team have more talent than the last team (batistuta, veron etc).

    Vamos Argentina
