Argentina

Pressure no matter what!!!

Even when Pekerman comes out with 3 points just because we our Argentina we will always find something to complain about. Some people think it is the abundance of talent that we have on the bench and on the field that creates this pressure. But I guarantee even if we had a bunch of “no-namers” on the bench we would find something to complain about with the formation, the goalie, the referees, the shoes one of the players have on, etc… No matter what the pressure just from being Argentina will always be there. Of course everyone wants that smooth 3-0 victory but lets face the facts it doesnt happen often exspecially in a tournament that is once every four years. So we have to take what we can get and be happy for the points. Sure everyone has their own opinions (even I question wtf is going through Pekermans mind) but lets see what happens. So far so good. And like Tevez said whoever is out there is going to leave everything on the field. Aguante Argentina. Cada dia te quiero mas. Soy argentino. es un sentimiento no puedo parar.

hi, i am rohit fropm neapl and great fan of argentina’s team.ALL the member’s of team are perfect in their role but the goalkeeper should be in his place in the small D-box are while the free kick and corner kick is taken by the oppenet’s team so Argentina can win the world cupof 2006 easily than in the pressure from the oponents team.

Hey I saw the second period of Serbia’s match. They seemed completely staying in defence. Even when Robben had scored. I think Argentina will win against them easily. They don’t attack, we will not be in danger. They aren’t that good.

I’m ready to wait and I’m ready to stay calm when zanetti is not taken to the world cup and messi, tevez and aimar are sitting on the bench. I can even cope with this extremely “wise” thing argentina does when it leads 2-0 or 3-0. BUT if we won’t win the damn cup AGAIN, I will just say good-bye to all my friends and relatives and burn myself in front of argentina football federation headquarters!!! will anyone join me?

Pekerman has made a mistake with not taking De Michelis. Lucho creates, and doesn’t defend.

I want to see what messi and tevez do together. Both are skilled and quick players. Against Serbia they should make the defense crazy. I hate to say it, even though I love Pato, but he didn’t have to step up…He was not forced to make a lot of saves. Athough he did make the ones he had to make. Dale Campeon…

Do you think Pekerman is the kind of coach that adapt a team because of the opponent? I mean, do you think he will name a squad that will be skilled in speed and very technical against SM? Could there be Leo, Carlitos and Pablito all together ?

As much as I want to see Messi and Tevez, I rather wait until the moment when we need to play the Neatherland team or further into the cup.. Dont forget hes coming from an injury, just like Rooney, and yet people are yelling to see him play.. I know hes probably the future golden shoe winner, but I dont want to see 70% of him.. I want him to step up in the field confident and wanting to score..
Also, on the topic of abundance of players.. how come Brazil doesnt have the problems “we think” we have ??.. We need to stop focusing on what we think or we might have wrong and lets focus on what we have that other teams dont.. Is it me, or nobody else sees that ONLY the goalkeeper plays in the argentine league ??.. The rest of the players are world class players, can we for once trust on Pekerman.. the guy has won as many tournaments as all the other D.T’s combined..
I remember as a kid back in 86 when we were champions.. I want to show everyone else that our golden years are not over yet..
… DALE dale Argentina.. VAMOS vamos a ganar.. que esta barra buchanguera, no te deja NO TE DEJA the alentar !!!…

Has anyone noticed that in this worldcup, significant number of goals have come either in the first few starting minutes or in the last dying minutes?

I think concentration will play a better role in this worldcup.
And recently or mostly, we haven’t been good at concentrating esp in the end. We have got to be very careful.

i’m sorry to say, Perkerman doesn’t look a good coach, and argentina does’t look the world cup squad that may win the cup, sorry sorry , i love them to win, but it will be very dificult ,
i saw Italy , look at the world cup squad how they playing, what a great defence, midfild , attack , what a great coach Libe, portoagl also they look a very good team you can see that there is a good coach behind, great Scolari ,
cheque, Holand, , , i think argentian’s squand needs allot allot of work,
Ayala, Crespo, Requilmé ( even he is very slow but he can make goals) and some how Mascherano and Heinz these only 5 players look as wold cup champions ,
we need to play like Italian player , NO ball missed , great great positioning on the ground , no spaces , great difence great goal keeper,, befor attack think in the difence,
ohh again , i think very less chances to win this would cup in fornt of Italy and Brazil ,
Perkerman should stop droping in Love with his juniors players,
i’m sure if Carlos Bilardo or Alfio Basilé were there you will not see 60% of these players ! Cambiasso ahh, simling and looking afraid on his legs while Ayala is fighting in the defience
sorry again , this is not the would cup team

Magic is all over the World Cup 2006!
Because of some strangeness in game results – this site becomes more and more famous http://www.voodoo4football.com
Is it possible – that synchronous desire of a lot of fans concentrates and affects on the results of the football game?

i don’t trust Pekerman at all, until Argentina win the would cup,
because he is in love i’m sure with his juniors
cambaisso, requilmé, saviola, etc etc
beleive me ; you will see ( Requilme, Cambiasso , Heniz, Saviola, Sorin,
so who are the players you want them to play ?
Aimar, Tevez , and Messi, as i have seen most of the comments,
Aimar will never play together with Requimlé, and Requilmé must play every match
Tevez is the subsitute but he may play insetad of saviola as a line up, Crespo will be there, because so many short players Impossible, who be the agrissive in the mdifield, Cambiasso he just similing
Messi instead of Maxi Rodregez
that’s it no more possible changes

I of course hope that argentina be the best team, but no way after seeing Italy yesterday we are so far, did you ask the question , why argentina won the wc 78, and 86 and played the final 90 ? one of the mean factors behind the host in 78 and maradona in 86 , there were some diferent tactics
i remember what Sir Carlos Bilardo said when he became the coach in 1983, he said south american players have football skills when they just born, but they need to be built physically and have high stamina to be closed to europien teams and make a heavy competion. since wc 90 did you see argentian playing at the least in semi final these last 16 years ????
we need to play like europian teams, again like Bilardo’s stratigy , and we don’t need south american style , this is useless in the WC, in south american competions, yes you can play what ever,
i just would like to remind you , that Brazil have taken Bilardo’s stratigy i have read one artical about that, they stuided well why argentina won the 86 wc and played the final 90 where they were very closed to win and they lost by an incorrect penalty!! and they ( brazil) were playing very well 82,86 itself and 90 but they lost
so they changed thier style from 94 , they won 94,2002 and played the final 98, you see ! and argentina back home from the first round
if argentian’s federation of football still thinking like that i mean to select some one like DONKY beilsa, they won’t go far any more
i can’t say that perkamn is ont a good coach at least he won the u-20 wc 3 times, but i’m talking mostly about his way of playing , and the black 16 years period in the wc since Bilarod left and these 12 years since Sir Alfio Basilé left also, anyway i think pekerman is not a very good coach as i see, i’m sorry i see him playing with an old style relaying on south american talents and skills only, this wont bring the cup to BA.
i can see the intelegence of the caochs behind thier teams ( Libe of Italy and Scolari of Portogal)

What a disgraceful performance by the Argentinians after their quarter final loss to the Germans. Do they carry on like that when they win? Every other nation has behaved well both on and off the field- then came the Argentinians. Hope it’s still a long, long way back to Buenos Aires and while you’re there…stay there!
