Pekerman gambles (LITTLE) with the lineup.
News in Argentina says Pekerman will not reveal the line up… not even to the players!
What we DO know is that Crespo, Saviola and Heinze will sit this game, as they each have a yellow card.
Risky?
Well, we can’t possibly question the coach who brought Argentina one of it’s finest victories, can we?
OF COURSE WE CAN!
We’re fans… it’s our job to question everything!
Is Pekerman doing the smart thing?
What if we lose Riquelme or Sorin with another card?
IS ALL HOPE LOST?!?!
PANIC!!!!!
Yeah, right…
(You know, when our biggest concern is whether or not to sit our starters… I think we’re doing a - okay)
Who shines today?
Will we see an appearance by Aimar? Cruz? Palacio?
Could Messi actually start?
We should win, no matter what the answers are.
And that’s a fantastic feeling.
I’m off to my final game here in Germany. It’s been great, and you know it’s been fun.
The score?
Argentina 3
Holland 1
VAMOS, CARAJO!!!!!!
UPDATED: RIQUELME AND SORIN are safe with no cards!!!
Now I´m really off to the game!

Aurelius you sound like a dude that been oppressing people for years now they fled to england and you need somthing to do, man you can’t talk to me about football, yes my country failed to qualify for this WC in the hands of GHANA who also beat the 2nd rank team in the world(CZECH REP)!!! You maybe, just maybe you have the ability or knowledge about football but mainly from reading magazines and favouring any team that wins, bloody CHAMELEON!!!

Aurelius: Jou pa is ‘n mofie!!!

Futbolblinger … surely Pakistan soccer is pathetic (least to say that) but i believe i have adequate knowledge of the game. Anyhow, i really don’t think qualifiers manifest the strength of a team. Good teams never play their key players in the qualifiers. So it’s not right on ur part to boast about ur country’s win in a qualifier. Moreover, Messi fans generally appear to be pretty much rational unlike u … so i suppose u’r just making it up and trying to find a rationale as to y u’r roaming around on this blog. On this blog, either u criticize in a senseful manner or find another place where ur senseless gabble makes sense to somebody else.

Hamza, Hamza, You’re dreaming, i mean you and your whole population in your country are simply spectators to every sport there’s absolutely nothing in soccer you know perhaps just reading a couple of mags and think that you know, i have the technical knowledge of this s***, you just a spectator of football, me SON i bling football and i played even @ University, and at least we RANK fourth in Africa(South Africa) and that’s great and we failed qualifying for WC you know what, and the #1 team in AFRICA (Cameroon ala Samuel eto’o)did fail to qualify and the African champions did fail, you do not know football you just caught on the fever!!! (if you know what that means)

you are a mofie, hamza like aurelius pa!

I’m amused by ur non-sensical gibberish which is reflexion of ur diabolic state of mind. I suggest u should go to a physician and have a medical checkup.
And as for u playing soccer and ur university … who cares.

Saswata, LLc and all others who have problems with dealing with reality… Argentine is the best team. Again… whenever we did not win was because the referees played against us. The rest is bullshit. Brazil is big because they play with 12 in the field… they always have one more in their team who has more power than the rest!! And England… come on you are so bad that we can goal you even with our hands withouth the referee noticing it… Who else, Mexico: I have respect for them, but anyway with all this due respect we are gona beat you. For the rest, Argentina already learned to play as a team and with teams who play with referees…

FOR ALL THE ONES WHO WROTE “DON’T CRY FOR ME ARGENTINA…” YOU ARE RIGHT WE WON’T CRY FOR YOU, WE WILL PARTY FOR US AND OUR TEAM. WE’LL BE CHAMPIONS, NO DOUBT. AND, PEPE, YOU ARE RIGHT, REMEMBER BACK IN 1990 WITH DIEGO, HOW WE DEFEATED ITALY IN THEIR OUN FIELD… YOU ARE RIGHT, WE ARE USED TO THE PREASURE…

England sux big time … owen’s injury got the english pissing all over the place … no bench strength … we’ve got lethal strikers sitting on the bench. Poor old england … u should be concerned about not getting thrashed by Equador … friggin’ english ppl, always kvetchin’ and complainin’ … no owen, no rooney, england is a piece of crap…no crespo, no messi, yet argentina can indubitably win the world cup …

L wonder why the referee has been bought, WHY so much corruption! Germany could win ..if the goal keeper was knocked down…and the did it..but the referee did nothing.
Pekerman´s team put everything, germany just put money!
I´m proud of our team if l were german l would be ashamed ..to win in that way….
God Bless us!

I DON’T AGREE THE REFEREE WAS THAT BAD… ARGENTINA PLAYED A GREAT GAME, SO DID GERMANY. WE WERE UNLUCKY BECAUSE OUR GOAL KEEPER GOT HURT AND PECKERMAN MADE A REALLY BAD MOVE WITH THE CHANGES HE MADE. BESIDES, WHAT HAPPENED WITH THE PENALTIES…

United States

l rtespect your opinion, after Brzil plays…you will see what l mean….
FIFA is corrupted …
Abondancieri…was badly hurt and the refery did nothing…after that our players started playing insecure…is like if you go to work and you leave the door opened…would you do your task with same excellence?
No way….it has been a shame…and FIFA its a shame like so many others shames that happen in the World
God bless!
l tell you Brazil is the bet team in the whole world l think we are the second….but why Brazil is going out every night and its not taking things seriously?
Whu Ronaldhiño said we want to play agains Germany not Argentia ![]()
