Now Teevez is Injured Too!

Carlos Tevez injured his knee last night during Corinthians game. Argentina officials are waiting to find out the extent of the injury to the forward. Tevez had to be helped off the field in the 78th minute. An MRI will be performed today to determine the extent of the damage.

First Messi and now this. I’m starting to think we might be cursed this year…

In some ways it might be good to have a few players with minor injuries this far in front of the tournament because then they will not be out on the field to maybe a get a serious injury. The key will be that they are able to be fit and ready by the tournament. But the good part is that they will be well rested. Some of these guys that are playing club leagues and champion league might get a little burned out.

Like Todd from Utah said above, it is probably a good thing these things are happening now.

There is STILL enough time to recover and work out a bit of ring rust before the world cup starts.

All these guys will be raring to guy WC time.
