Maxi Lopez - No way!!!!!

Some people are wondering if Maxi Lopez should be brought to the World Cup??? Actually it was brought to my attention by Bob.. HAHA Bob man come on you know there is no room for Maxi on the squad. Between Crespo, Saviola, Tevez, Messi, Riquelme, and Aimar we got enough attackers. Plus I dont think he is at the level of any of the people I have just mentioned. He is a good player and has the potential to be a star but I dont think you can risk starting him in a World Cup until he proves he is worthy like the others, i have mentioned, did.

Maxi Lopez does not have the experience to play in the World Cup. His brief time with River Plate was successful, but then again, he never managed to win the ever elusive Copa Libertadores for his club. His move to Barcelona was a quick fix to Larrsen’s injury last season. To the best of my knowledge, Maxi has never scored more then 3 goals in official games with Barca.

But, I am strong believer that you must have domestic players in your World Cup squad. So, what chances do strikers like Indep’t’s Sergio Agüero or Boca’s Rodrigo Palacios have on the national squad? I think both have shown great potential. Maybe, they shouldn’t be first choice strikers, but it’s important for a player’s development to be exposed to a World Cup enviornment, if only to prepare them for the next tournament.

Maxi is the best soccer player in the world.Barca is the stupid ,they should of let of him play. Arg is smart,his the next big thing like pele.Trust u will all c.Maxi lopez is smart with ball n isnt scared of fighting 4 the ball. Maxi is ready when his team needs him and ex river plate he play the best when his team needed him.Just wait and n c but maxi lopez should leave barca for sure

Of course,I think Crespo, Tevez, Messi will be sure in the squad.We need at least 5 forwards, so we have to choose another two among: Cruz, Diego Milito,Saviola,Figueroa,Maxi,Delgado…
I prefer Cruz and Milito because of their goals in this season.They are the goals determining the match-results.In World Cup, we need such important goals.

Delgado and Figueroa they shouldnt even waste there time bringing to the world Cup.. They wouldnt get to play so what would be the purpose. Its definitely between Cruz Milito Saviola and MAYBE MAXI

I am very interested in knowing how people from Argetina think of Maxi Lopez. I saw the game he played for FC Barcelona against Sevilla last night. Actually, his footwork is not bad. However, it pales when compared to Ronaldinho, Messi, Deco, and Iniesta. Besides, as a forward in such highly a competitive Spanish league, he doesn’t have speed to destroy opponent’s defense either.

Maxi should be play outside Barca team. I mean that he is better to be borrowed to another club like Javier Saviola. And than he could be back if his performance can be proved by his goals
