Messi is not the Savior for the World Cup but I believe that there will be a game where we need him to create and finish a goal from nothing. Most of the team is very specific in their roles of creating or finishing goals which is great for the team but I believe that we will need either Tevez of Messi to create and finish a goal in a otherwise tight game. They both have the ability to get by there man and finish on their own. The great teams need such a player and I hope that one of them comes through. Crespo is a great finsher and I take nothing away from his abilities but he will not take someone off the dribble and finish and there will be a time or when we will need a singular spectacular individual goal and I think that Messi will provide that saving goal.

messi is an amazing player but ppl are failing to realise that we have other great players. i think messi will shine in a few games and be the best player on the pitch but besides that he will be solid and other players (riquelme, crespo, tevez) will shine. we are a well-rounded team we just need to solidify the back, which should not be too difficult with the greats coming back from injury (mascherano, heinze, ayala)… VAMOS CARAJO!!! ARGENTINA VA SALIR CAMPEONNNNN!!!!

haahahhaah i was laughing when I read this… VAMO VAMOS!!! This guy is right, we got tons of strikers… we just need to worry about our defense… Ayala is back and is awesome… Heinze too.. Mascherano is the best…

But, if messi and teves are around are there any places for other superb players such as Aimar or D’Alessandro??… I’ve been watching that Pekerman has given a permanent position for Riquelme as the playmaker.. so Aimar, Messi, Tevez, D’Alessandro will be in a tight competition for the 2nd striker position
