Argentina News Ahead of Switzerland Friendly

May 28th, 2007 | By: WC Bob | 5 Comments »

Time to start up another thread. With the Switzerland friendly coming up on June 2, there should be a lot to discuss. There is also plenty of transfer talk involving players from Argentina and there are Argentine players competing in games in Europe and at home. Consider this an open thread to discuss all those things and more.

On an administrative note, we’re doing our best to keep the threads clean, on topic and to prevent trolling. There is a lot of great discussion on this blog and I want to keep it that way. If any of you are interested in helping to moderate comments, start new threads and to continue to make this a great place to talk about all things Argentina football, please send me an email: bob [at] worldcupblog.org

Thanks!

Is the friendly on June 2nd being shown in any channel? Does anybody have any information about the possible game on June 6th? We know Brazil is playing England and Turkey on 2nd and 6th (both games will be shown live in FSC). Imo, not playing anyone on 6th would be considered a blow to Argentina’s preparation for Copa.

The game isn’t listed as being shown in the US on tv.

As Copa is getting closer, I doubt Basile will show everything in term of tactics and strategies. The opponents will definitely watch us closely for Copa preparations. So, let’s enjoy the game…

The game between Argentina and Switzerland will be shown in the US on Telemundo but early Sunday so it will be a day old.
I have yet to find anyone that is showing the game.
Im gonna try some TV stations from Swtizerland that are online that may carry the game that day.

Great blog BTW!!!
