Argentina move top in FIFA world rankings; Is the Brazil era on the decline?
Argentina Rising, Brazil Declining? Must be. Argentina is ranked #1 in the latest fifa ranking, and Brazil #3
Youngsters such as Messi, Aguero, Gago, Higuain, Tevez and the likes will most likely lift the trophy in July of 2010 in South Africa.

Alexa,
you are of the “nurturing” qualities, you do NOT have anything to say. What a shame? I simply do NOT belong here…
WOW, People are fake here…..

I love you all, but woww, none of you can stand up for the truth.
MEDIOCRITY will always be stranger to me.
None of you including RIIQUELLME, the blogger took a stand…
Do you guys have INFERIORITY COPMPLEX?
What a shame??

What a shame,
that MESSAY could not delete AL from his RACISTS statement.
Farewell to you all,
KEN

too bad music cannot be set to ken’s operatic exit!! dude you are so theatric!! at least be a man and show me where I was racist dude? the one with a complex is you!! bye dude go wallow in your corner.

I’m afraid to say Ken that there is little that can be done to deter puerile fools who have little better to do than rile other people like yourself with offensive comments.
Like most internet surfers the IP address is dynamic & one can have several e-mail addresses which makes it impossible even on fora to ban objectionable members.
The best thing to do Ken is not to curtail your blogging.Just dont not rise or should that be sink to the lowest common denominator that anonymity on the internet provides.
By refusing to post you have allowed this ‘person’ to suceed who must be aglow with his acheivements’ .
At the very least keep reading the blog. There are idiots out there who cannot take part in reasoned debate ,as they might have to do when confronted in a face to face situation & idiots who are determined to destroy what they care little for.
Masche looks to be sharpening up. Its great to see him under a manager who believes in him at last. Granted Sheffield United are not the greatest of opposition or indeed a demotivated Arsenal team but his current performance against PSV tonight(0-3 at present) leads one to believe he is returning to form and consideration for the Copa.
Nice to see we have three exceptional players vying for two spots though Cambiasso unfortunately may be the one to miss out despite his great season for Inter.
Tevez no matter what West Ham acheive at the end of the season if they do suceed in staying up will be on the move.
Benitez is very interested in taking him to Liverpool as Fowler is replaced.
Paletta has found the pace of the game here & continual pressing of the midfield very hard even in his League Cup games.
Agger has cemented his position & it may well be that Paletta indeed young Emiliano Insua will be loaned out next season. The former to a La Liga club the latter to a team in the Championship which if anything is more physical & should be a good grounding for the youngster.
It can only bode well if Argentina is determined to move to a more direct faster paced ‘ modern’ game allied to the traditional artistry of Argentinian football.

Al, please don’t teach us anymore about what you can do on a blog.
You may have all the right to be here, hiding behind your computer and running your mouth in the name of freedom of speech.
Now let’s not be hypocrite for a minute here. This blog was flowing very nicely until you came by, taunting us with a statement that had nothing to do with the topic of the conversation at that moment.
It was pure trash, totally uncalled for. There is no doubt about that.
We were talking about Colombia and Argentina being in the same group in Copa America.
You bursted in with the following comment:
al | February 16th, 2007 at 12:04 am
oh my, oh my, just imagine what it would be like if argentine’s soccer was as good as brazil then you boludos would never shut up…..
Posted from United States
Later, you also expressed:
al | February 19th, 2007 at 9:56 am
ken, argentina has, is an will always be a wanna be!! …
… argentinians are pride and arrogant boludos.
Posted from United States
You call me “boludo” and arrogant, and you don’t even know me.
Would you do that standing in front of me?
That’s an insult, and totally uncalled for.
Plus you express your gratefulness for us not being as good as Brazil, otherwise we would never shut up.
Now what kind of crap is that?
I already told you (in spanish) what I think about you and your response was so pathetically poor that I actually felt disappointed in you.
You old mediocre loser, unable to find comfort on positive things.
You strive in the most negative possible vibe. Take a laxative.
What ever happened to you Al? did your wife run away with an argentino?
The world of international law doesn’t have anything constructive for you do?
You get exactly what you want, what you ask for, our reaction to your lack of class.
You disrupt the flow of this blog.
You destroy what others build.
We might not be able to kick you out of here, but the truth remains the same.

Ignore Al and lets talk futbol. period end of story. He will eventually go away!! Do not pander to someone and give them what they want by leaving or stopping comments. There have been many Als over the months and they always go away. What remains true in here is the beauty of Argentine futbol and those that love it and understand it. The token moments we have to waste dealing with those here for other reasons is greatly outweighed by the sharing of joy we all get from this beautiful game. It is always our choice to respond or not respond to those who offend us and I leave that to each person to decide. I for one normally ignore the rude but every once in a while it is fun to give a little back :). Lets not make this more than it is A place to enjoy and share our love of futbol and the way it is played by Argentina. A place to share those moments and feelings with others. It is also important that it be a place where all are welcome and some patience is displayed to those who are use to the world of most other blogs. Thank you all.

Fellows,
I am extremely surprised that with the exception of Julian, alias, the blogger from Canada, none of you took a stand…
The message is clear. Al should not be allowed to post on this blog because of his racial comments posted in the pasts. Just putt pressure on MESSAY to do so. Else, we will lose Ken, the blogger. Just read Mr. Ken’s posts in the pasts. YOU will know his caliber!
What a shame that EVIL is being allowed to THRIVE while GOODNESS is bing dumped!

no this is not albo but just wanted to prove something:
albo, have you even considered that someone could use my name to post the stuff you listed? I just used your name see?
ing, what racial comments? are you a follower of nazi propaganda theory that a lie repeated long enough becomes a truth? me no racist comprender?
I just think it is pathetic that you guys are so low in confidence that frame argentina by comparing it to brazil!! just read the header of this thread: “Argentina move top in FIFA world rankings; Is the Brazil era on the decline?”
listen dudes I think argentinian futbol is overrated period. at the personal level I find most argentinians annoying because they are arrogant, they think everything they do is best but make no mistake: me no racist!!
and ken what’s up with him? a prima donna!!
now whomever is messing around with insults that is uncalled for!!

The choice is clear. Ken, intellectual comments versus Al, racists comments. Either, you picked one or choose the either one. Else all your FREE ads will be let loose!

This is too weird.
They shouldn’t let him do that

I truly hope that Ken no longer posts here because AL, the evil is allowed to do whatever he wants inspite of his RACISTS comments on number of times. Wow, what happen to the following bloggers who seem to care for the truth but take no stand…
Alfio, MESSAY, Wandiego, AJ from New york, Todd fom Utah, Alex, the only female from this blog, and a thousand others…
Wow, what a shame!

Ing this is a freaking Blog!!! We can not control everyone and what they say! If we ignore they will go away if we do not not they stay and keep ruining it for everyone. What about this dont you and ken understand? Lets all grow up in here and realize that it is a free blog with little controls on it. You can enter any name you want to. If someone says someting racist or swears we can ignore it and move on. The blog is not set up to edit anyone or to track email addresses. Now that we understand this we can continue or go home and cry. I am tired of this over dramatization. I am here to talk futbol and that is what I intend to do. Please grow up and quit giving Al the attention he desires. If you did not already know that there are racists in the world then I dont know where you have been hiding. There are and they are pathetic but please dont give them the power that you are giving Al to destroy. Good always wins buy outlasting bad. Now lets all move on and just ignore Al and any of his comments. Please?

Listen everybody who cares about football I have an Idea to end this and go to another website that we can actually talk about football. If your interserted emial me at Sweexzee@aim.com so I can tell you the website and details

Ken, buddy, I never wrote here before, but always read the blog! Man you are giving al more than he deserves, none here has responded to anything al says in a very long time, everyone is ignoring him and his comments, and if anything is said it is said to shaow him tht he is not welcome, so stop giving him what he wants, it is not worth it man, I am sure everyone does like me and skips over his comments anyway, so what’s the use of letting him stop the discussion about football.
Now since I already joined in this, I’d like to talk football. I think FIFA was seriously thinking of a way to give more importance to the National Teams after the poor show in 2002, when not a single team was special, and the final match was between two nations who clearly offered nothing to remember throughout the tournament. It was a dull world cup, and every player expected to shine was disappointing.
The reason was that players were stuck with their teams for too long and had no time to prepare with their NTs. That’s why in 2006 teams were forced to let go of their players months ahead of time to allow for a good resting period for the players and preparation time for the national teams to regroup and train. FIFA gave signals that unless this is done they would seriously consider holding WCs every 2 years. I doubt anything more than that can be done, because even FIFA knows that money and rich clubs are the major contributers to todays football.
On a different not, if Tevez moves to Liverpool, I’d be the happiest man on earth, Rafa is one of the smartest managers in Europe, he breaths football and the work he’s doing in Liverpool speaks for itself.

Mascherano had a solid game today.
He’s finding his place with Liverpool.
You can tell he likes it.
In football like in most things in life, strange things happen, but in the long run, quality prevails. Same kudos for Tevez and Saviola for hanging in there no matter what. No egos.
Aurelius, good to see you, dude!!!

Todd from Utah,
Racists comment can be barred since their IP addresses are known. It is that simple. It is up to MESSAY to act…

Albo like i said messay cant do nothing so here is the prove everybody can use each other nicknames.we have no power i dont have a problem if al posts how brazil is greater than argentina that is his opinion and yes garincha is the most underrated player ever but what i hate is racism i am here to talk football i am not from argentina and i dont know alot about the country or the people but one thing i know is that i love argentine football.i have alotta friends that are other nationality, race,or religion and i have dealt with them all one thing i could get out of this is that there are good people and bad people in the world not nationalty, race or relgion.Albo must be blessed do u remember that he posted about the problems in his country i just thought wow much respect that you see that.i am too critical of my own people.i think that al says that the argentine people in buenos aires are hated by the people who live out of buenos aires if iam not mistaken, guess what that is everywhre some people in usa think new yorker are arrogant too,and people in berlin think that they are more special than other cities in germany i have lived in germany 8 years for a period i lived in a small town of 25 thousand people guess what they thought that they are more special than ther neighbours.i replied to al before told him how i felt i am not gonna insult canada cause he is from there if u dont know we have other canadians here too like oilerfan do u remember him he has not posted for a while but i think he is too busy to post but is a very nice guy should we say that fuck canada and disrespect him because of al hell no.think about this dont let someone upset you ken come back you have alota good people here you should be here and talk how we can chase our dream to be world champions and your and my dream to see riquelme and aimar play together we should never let someone destroy our dream to field the best eleven players on the field you have alota inteligent people here just ignore the ones who provoke.i see you.
we should talk football here and not how somebody behaves out of the field, maradona and pele are both not my idols of the field but u can learn from both of their life i respect ther struggle, their poor backround but both chose wrong paths of the field pele simply is an akisser he is a corperate personforgot his backround he choose the money he let presidents shine in his light who did bad to his own people and forgot to take care about his son and his friend garincha is he a good idol hell no not in my book one thing i respect about maradona is that he is not an akisser but his life is not good too he had bad influence in his life ,drug abuse …. is he an good idol hell no but you should take their good things and learn about that because even a bad example is a good example to learn.we should respect them for what thy have archieved on the field.and wish them well do find the right path.i just wanted to say to you please talk football and dont look at the players of the field or like some people say riquelme he does not smile he should not play because of that phatic,or how much money he earns or how much commercials he has…. just look at how they perform and enjoy that have a good time go home love your family and take care of them be here you should spend your energy be happy .not more end of the story.

Hey guys,
I am going to shut down this thread since it has gotten so long and it is turning personal. I love the energy that most of you bring to this blog and want it to continue to be a cool place for you to discuss Argentina football. We all love the game and we all can learn from one another. Let’s do that starting in a new post.
If you are interested in helping Messay start new posts please do contact me.
Thanks,
Bob
