i am very much happy as MESSI scored but at the same time too dissapointed as they concieded 3 goals against a team like ALGERIA.i m afraid of their deffense for the upcoming COPA AMERICA CUP.Basile should fix the problem soon…..otherwise deafiting teams like BRAZIL,MEXICO would be a big challenge for them.

Barca lost to Zaragoza (0-1). Zaragoza owned Barca for the first 70 minutes. Gabi Milito and D’Alessandro were the best players imo.

I would like the strikers and wingers to play in a narrow formation through the middle. Zanetti and Sorin are both quite mobile so the field will be broad in the midfield. Inside and just beyon the box, Tevez will provide mobility and Crespo will provide finishing – that should keep the defenders occupied.

Ayala was so impressive yesterday against Chelsea. He’s a great big game player – so solid, and completely fearless. Drogba was one of the best players for Chelsea that night, but Ayala really kept him honest. Marca.com blaimed Ayala for the goal, but, from what i heard, Canizares was way off his line. In any case, Ayala was my MOM (of course with Silva).

So happy for Mascherano. Great that he’s gone from West Ham. He went from being on the bench to playing in a quartefinal in tha champions. And hopefully he’ll start in the semis.

Julian, Ayala was amazing. He made Drogba seem like a novice. I don’t know if you people really realize: AYALA DESTROYED DROGBA! A bit like at WC 06. He was N°1 in the air. Took every balls before Didier. I watched him carefully the whole game. His match was almost perfect. Unfortunately, Roberto is old now, he was a bit slow against Drogba on Chelsea’s goal, anyway, it was also Canizarres’s fault.

We need Ayala for the WC 10, even if he doesn’t play a game. We need his experience. However, until now we don’t have a replacement. If it’s still the case in 3 years, he will have to play. To me, it would even be the case if he was 50 years old!

I admit: i like this guy so much that i forget that young talented defenders will raise soon.

By the way, stupid Amadeo Carboni must be happy: Aimar’s replacement scored Valencia’s amazing goal.

I also saw Roma-MU. Heinze did his game. Manchester were lucky. They could’ve lost 3-1. Roma were a machine. I discovered this particular style of playing last year, Roma has become a great team. The only one who has a counter attacking strategy based on collective and quick short passes. Very impressive. It’s so fast! And guys, they don’t have a single striker! No forward! Only Totti in front who always plays in the middle! When they attack, it’s always the same thing: 10 men playing collective in midfield and using the wings perfectly. Either they shoot from long distance (Totti) or they score from short passes from the wings (Brazilians, Mancini & Taddei, Panucci, Cassetti). Mexes is fabulous too.

Roma and Liverpool are my favorites for the CL.

Firstly Maxi Lopez – thanks for the shoutout! I feel humbled by being called amazing, but there is no doubt this blog is amazing! The passion we all share for Argentina is impressive! Look at the stats – this is a non-World Cup year, and the “Argentina move top in FIFA world rankings; Is the Brazil era on the decline?” blog had 452 comments in 3 weeks! That is totally crazy! I know it’s impossible because everyone is from different corners of the world, but it would be great to one day get together and all watch a match together!!!

Vamos Messi19, I have heard nothing of this friendly! If it is in England I will be there…no doubt!
