Aguero to Bayern Munich?

Apparently Bayern Munich will make official a $19mm Euro offer for Aguero in the next few days. Aguero has already begged off a $1mm US offer to stay with Independiente. Bayern now leaps to the top of the list that has so far consisted of Barcelona, Chelsea, Real Madrid, and Liverpool.

So now, we know for sure that Aguero will be packing his bags for Europe in June. We just don’t know whether it’ll be for the World Cup, or his new home in Germany…I sure hope it’s for the World Cup.

Aguero should play his football in Spain. For many obvious reasons:
    a) I think he is suited to la liga
    b) the culture is more or less easy to adapt to for an argie
    c) playing in other leagues will require a lot more effort to assimilate in the culture (england or Germany..)
    d) He will have some argies on his team to support him
    e) I want to watch him every week.

I agree LOL, but admit it-reason “e” is the main reason! hahah because it is for me too! Albeit, I agree with the other reasons too. Crespo loves playing in AC MILAN… because Argentina is like Italy and Italy is like Argentina, they feel at home…

Just watched the champion’s league quarter final between Inter and Villareal.

With so many talented Argentineans on both teams, is anyone shocked that this was the most exciting of the quarter finals so far?

Walter Samuel and Riquelme had an incident between them but it was all hugs in the end. It was good to see the Argentineans play hard but give each other love and respect at the end.

I think captain Sorin, went to every Argentinean team mate on the Inter side to exchange pleasantries at the end.

Zanetti had an absolutely brilliant match. He had two breathtaking runs.

Riquelme missed an easy opportunity towards the end, but had one helluva free kick that struck the post. He also created a great opportunity for Sorin, but it was missed.

Veron who is in the international wilderness looked solid with his passing as well.

Walter Samuel was imposing in defense as usual.

Gonzalez didn’t have much time to create an impression though.

It is a pity that both Villareal and Inter face each other so early.

It would have been ideal for them to face each other in the finals to give the Argentineans maximum polish.

What a good game man. Zanetti is a freakin beast. Class. Pekerman needs to know his priorities. Zanetti should start every damn game in the WC. Cambiasso played well too.

Riquelme had a fairly good game.

Looks like he is singing up with Liverpool!

Liverpool is his boyhood club, he’s now desperate to invite bid from Benitez to lure him to the Anfield…of course wise Rafa denies everything – which makes this even more likely to happen.
It would be phenomenal, since I love argies, and also..the Reds :)
